Corrections policy

Last updated: 10 July 2026

What counts as a correction

Anything factually wrong or misleading: an out-of-date price band, a misstated withdrawal risk, an incorrect NHS pathway, a clinic named at the wrong CQC rating, an outdated statistic.

How to report one

Include the page URL and the specific sentence you're flagging.

Our response times

  • We acknowledge every correction request within two working days.
  • Clear factual errors are corrected within five working days.
  • Contested claims are escalated to our clinical team and resolved within ten working days. The page is updated to reflect the review either way.

How corrections are labelled

Substantive corrections are noted at the foot of the affected page with the date and a short description ("On 12 July 2026 we corrected the alcohol withdrawal seizure-risk window from 6–24h to 6–48h."). The visible "last reviewed" date is also updated.

Minor typographical or grammatical fixes are not logged.

Removal

Where a page cannot be corrected safely (e.g. an unsafe recommendation) we unpublish it immediately and note the removal in the sitemap.
