Privacy & data-sharing

Who we are

Clearpath UK Rehab is a lead-referral service that connects people in the UK with CQC-regulated rehab clinics and BACP/UKCP-registered therapists. We are the data controller for enquiries submitted through this site.

What we collect

  • Name, phone, email and (optionally) postcode area.
  • The substance, condition or situation you tell us about — this is special-category health data under UK GDPR Article 9.
  • Urgency, funding preferences and free-text notes you choose to share.
  • The page you enquired from and basic technical data (IP hash, user agent, referrer).

Legal basis

We rely on your explicit consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a)) for both the enquiry itself and for sharing the health-relevant parts with a suitable treatment provider. You give this consent through the two required tick-boxes on the enquiry form.

Who we share it with

When you request a callback, we share your enquiry with one CQC-regulated rehab clinic or registered therapist matched to your situation. Indicative partners: UKAT, Delamere, Castle Craig, Priory Group, Rehab 4 Addiction. We only share what the partner needs to call you back.

How long we keep it

Lead records are kept for 24 months for regulatory audit and quality assurance, then deleted. Marketing emails (only if you opted in) can be unsubscribed at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, or withdraw consent. Email dpo@clearpath.example and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Emergencies

If you are in immediate danger, call 999. If you are struggling and want to talk, call Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7).
